You can donate used cell phones by printing a shipping label and sending your devices to Big Sky Recycling. We refurbish or responsibly recycle phones, with proceeds and working phones donated to organizations supporting survivors of domestic and sexual violence.
We accept smartphones, basic cell phones, tablets, and iPads – working or broken. We also recycle iPods and Apple Watches.
Yes. Every device we receive is securely wiped of all personal data using industry-standard practices. Devices that cannot be erased are destroyed through certified recycling partners.
Donated phones are either refurbished and reused by nonprofit partners for emergency communication, or responsibly recycled to generate funds for survivor services like crisis lines, shelter, and advocacy programs.
Yes. We offer prepaid shipping labels for donations of 5 or more phones. For smaller donations (1–4 phones), you can use our selfpaid label and help us by paying for shipping. This allows us to make a larger impact and provide more to our partner charities.
